When is this surgery done?

  • Cases of primary angle closure glaucoma
  • Prevent or treat closed-angle glaucoma when the patient has a very narrow drainage angle or has had this type of glaucoma in the other eye
  • Secondary angle-closure glaucoma with pupillary block
